About Us

In 2000 I founded CHP Systems Inc. to help Companies in the Southeastern U.S. increase productivity by providing the right tools for their application.

In 1977 I started out working for companies that repair presses. I spent over 20 years learning how to disassemble presses, evaluate their condition, perform the needed repairs, reassemble and start them up. I was involved with the repair and /or the modification of a large variety of metal forming machines. Ranging from small Niagara O.B.I.’s to very large Danly Triple Action Underdrive presses. These presses were used for every application imaginable. Hot, warm, and cold forming of materials ranging from low alloy steels to Titanium.
During that time I studied how the presses were designed for the different applications. I studied how they failed and the causes of the failures. This experience repairing presses gave me a unique insight into what a machine needs for it to be good at particular applications.
From 1988 to 1993 I worked for The Ajax Manufacturing Company. During this time I traveled the world successfully selling Forging Machinery in North America, Europe, and Asia. My experience in repairing presses and my understanding of how applications determined press design were key to my success.

Since 2000 I have used these experiences to help manufacturers in the Southeastern U.S. increase productivity by providing the right tools for their application.
Whether you are looking for machine upgrades such as; controls, clutches, QDC, and coil handling or a completely automated new press line, we are here to help you.
